George Bowman

George Alexander Bowman was born in Montrose on 27 June, 1872. Date of death not known.
George Bowman was an unlikely international, selected at right back for Scotland aged just 19 and playing for a small provincial club, but he was no doubt encouraged by fellow club international Sandy Keillor. He later moved from Montrose to Third Lanark, but was back at Links Park at the start of 1897.
