Biography
William Dallas Fyfe Brown was born in Arbroath on 8 October, 1931. He died in Canada on 29 November, 2004.
Bill Brown dominated the Scotland goalkeeping position for almost a decade, and was the country's most capped keeper until Alan Rough came along. His thin build was deceptively strong, and he could bring off brilliant acrobatic saves. From local football and Carnoustie Panmure juniors, he joined Dundee in September 1949 and spent a decade at Dens Park.
