Daniel Bruce

Daniel Bruce was born in Bonhill, Dunbartonshire, on 20 October,1870. He died on 6 February, 1931.
A left sided forward of great promise, Bruce won his only cap while with his first club, Vale of Leven, while still a teenager, shortly after doing well in that year's Scottish Cup Final against Queen's Park. But despite the comprehensive victory over Wales he did not appear in the dark blue again. He moved to Rangers in 1891, then went south in October 1892 to join Notts County.
