Biography
Stephen McManus was born in Lanark on 10 September, 1982. The tall defender was a product of Celtic’s youth system, having been with the club all of his playing career since 1997. He became an intrinsic part of the first team after the arrival of Gordon Strachan as Manager.
Stephen earned his first Scotland cap coming on as a substitute for Robbie Nielson in October 2006 against Ukraine. His first full start for Scotland was under Alex McLeish against Georgia on
