Emma has represented Scotland at every level, and captained both the under-17s and under-19s.
She was part of the side that qualified for the UEFA Women’s Under-19 Championship Finals in Macedonia in 2010.
Emma signed for Glasgow City in 2008, and two years later the then 17-year-old scored a hat trick in her second senior game for the club, after returning from a 10-month injury lay-off.
She signed a professional contract with German side SGS Essen in January 2013, before moving to FAWSL champions Arsenal later that year.
She won her first A squad cap in a 1-1 draw against France in May 2011. The versatile player has featured in defence and as an attacking midfielder.
