Biography
Fraser became the youngest player ever to play in the Aberdeen first team when he made his debut in a 3-0 win over Hamilton Academical in August 2009 at the age of just 16. He moved to Wigan Athletic in July 2012 and made his first appearance in an English League Cup tie against Nottingham Forest a month later. Fraser was part of the Scotland youth international set-up since the age of 15, making his debut in an under-15 friendly match against Belgium in April 2008. The midfielder has captained Scotland at under-15, 16, 17 and 19 levels. Fraser made his under-21 debut in a friendly match against USA in October 2012 and his first competitive start in a 3-0 win over Luxembourg in March 2013 in UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying match.
