Biography
Having started her career with a five-year spell at Rangers, Cuthbert spent two years at Glasgow City before joining Chelsea in 2016.
The striker quickly became a key member of the Blues’ squad, enjoying her most impactful campaign to date in 2018/19. Nominated for the PFA Women’s Players’ Player of the Year award, she also picked up the Chelsea Women’s Player of the Year and UEFA Women’s Champions League Goal of the Season prizes.
Cuthbert made her full Scotland debut in a UEFA EURO 2017 qualifier away to Belarus in June 2016, scoring her first senior international goal against Denmark in her third cap. She scored four goals during 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifying and added to her impressive goals-to-games ration with a 30-yard strike against Jamaica at Hampden Park. She scored against Argentina at the World Cup and was named Scotland Women's Player of the Year in 2019.
