Biography
Emma started her career as striker, before moving into defence.
In 2005 she was part of the Scotland squad that qualified for the Finals of the UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship for the first time, and later went on to captain the side.
In the same season Emma scored Glasgow City's first ever European goal in a UEFA Women's Cup (now the UEFA Women's Champions League) tie against Athletic Bilbao.
The full-back made her Scotland A squad debut in an international challenge match against France in August 2009 and established herself as a first-pick in Anna Signeul's side throughout the Women's World Cup 2011 qualifying campaign. She scored her first senior goal in a 2-0 win over Northern Ireland in May 2010.
