Biography
Danny is a product of the Rangers youth system and made history in 2009 when, at the age of 17, he became the youngest player to make a Champions League appearance for a Scottish side.
His stylish performances earned the young central defender a move to Liverpool in July 2010.
Danny has been involved in the international set-up since the age of 15 and captained the under-19s during 2009. He made five appearances for the under-21s, before making an impressive debut for Craig Levein’s side, opening the scoring in a 3-0 friendly win over Faroe Islands in November 2010.
Danny has been a regular for Scotland Under-21s for their 2013 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying campaign.
