Andy Robertson
Biography
Andy began his career with Celtic at youth level, where he was later released. He then began his senior career with Queen's Park in 2012, before moving on to Dundee United a year later.
Season 2013/14 was hugely successful for Andy, where he helped his side reach the Scottish Cup Final, won PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year, and earned a move to English Premier League side Hull City for just under £3m.His performances also earned him a call up to the Scotland 'A' squad for a friendly with Poland in March 2014, where he won his first cap.
After three seasons with Hull, Andy signed for Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool and soon became an integral part of the side, reaching successive UEFA Champions League Finals in 2018 and 2019; winning the latter. In 2020, Andy helped Liverpool to their first Premier League title in 30 years.
Andy made his debut for Scotland as a 67th minute substitute in 1-0 away win to Poland in 2014, soon becoming a mainstay in the side. He scored a memorable first goal for his country against England at Wembley. Alex McLeish named Andy as Scotland captain in September 2018.
