Michael McGlinchey

Born in New Zealand – where his father played football – Michael came through the youth set-up at Celtic, signing professionally in 2005. So far the striker has made just one substitute appearance for the first team, but seems set to break into the squad for the coming season. Fast and tricky, he is a regular goalscorer for the club youth and reserve sides. He played in every match for Scotland at last summer’s European Championship finals.
