Tom Cairney

Tom made his Scotland Under-21 debut in an International Challenge match against Belgium on 24th March 2011. He is a product of Hull City's youth system and was voted the clubs Young Player of the Year for 2008/09. He made an instant impact on his senior debut in August 2009's Carling Cup second round tie against Southend, scoring a spectacular goal after only seven minutes. Although born in Nottingham, England, Tom has committed himself to Scotland, much to his father Ian's delight. The midfielder was a regular under for Scotland Under-21s in the 2013 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying campaign andw would go on to make his full debut in 2017.
