Biography
Tony burst onto the scene in 2012. After signing for Celtic from Airdrie, he came on as a substitute in a league match against Motherwell in April, scoring a double within five minutes.
He made his first start four moths later, and scored another double in a 4-2 win over Inverness. He then made his UEFA Champions League debut in November, scoring the winner in a pulsating 2-1 win over Barcelona at Celtic Park.
Tony has represented Scotland at under-19, under-20 and under-21 level. He played in the final two UEFA Under-21 Championship 2013 qualifiers against Luxembourg and Austria in September 2012, scoring a goal in each match.
He was called-up to the senior squad for the first time by Gordon Strachan for the World Cup 2014 qualifier against Croatia in June 2013.
