Biography
Kenneth Campbell was born in Cambuslang on 6 September 1892, and died on 28 April 1977. A goalkeeper who was renowned as a safe pair of hands, Campbell started in junior football with Rutherglen Glencairn and Cambuslang Rangers before making the move south to Liverpool in 1911. He played in the 1914 FA Cup Final, on the losing side, and made 125 league appearances for the Anfield club. In April 1920 he joined Partick Thistle, and won a Scottish Cup winners medal the following season.
