Finlay Speedie

Finlay Ballantyne Speedie born Dumbarton on 18 August 1880. Died 5 February 1953. A versatile player who preferred inside left but could play anywhere he began and ended his playing career with his local club Dumbarton. However it was after joining Rangers in the autumn of 1900 that he came to prominence winning league championship medals in his first two seasons and the Scottish Cup the year after that.
