Biography
William Anderson was born in Glasgow date unknown, circa 1860.
A right wing forward, he had the satisfaction of an unbeaten international career including a 5-1 thumping of England on his debut. Known as the 'demon dodger' because of his dribbling skill, he joined Queen's Park in 1879 after appearing for various minor sides in Glasgow (Havelock, Abingdon and Shawlands Athletic). At Queen's Park he won three Scottish Cup medals in 1881, 1882 and 1884.
