Joseph Taylor

Joseph Taylor was born around 1851 in Dunoon. He died on 5 October, 1888.
An important figure in early international football, Taylor played at full back in all of Scotland’s first six internationals. A prominent figure with Queen’s Park, he joined the club in 1870, won the Scottish Cup in 1874, 1875 and 1876, and was appointed club President after his retiral from playing in 1877.
