Biography
Cornelius 'Neil' Dougall was born in Falkirk on 7 November, 1921. An inside right, later moving back to right half, he played all his football in England having signed for Burnley directly from school. The war interrupted his career, and although he was a Burnley player he turned out for various clubs as a guest including Oldham Athletic, Watford, Walsall and Coventry City. In October 1945 he moved to Birmingham, winning the second division championship in 1948.
