Biography
Thomas Tindal Fitchie was born in Edinburgh on 11 December, 1881. He died on 17 October, 1941. Thomas Fitchie was a gifted amateur player who combined his football career with a professional one. Moving south at an early age, he represented South London Schools, and joined West Norwood. He did make one appearance for Tottenham Hotspur, but joined Woolwich Arsenal in 1904. The Gunners made the most of his fine ball control and shooting power, and he appeared regularly for them until 1909.
