George Brewster

George Brewster was born in Culsalmond (Aberdeenshire) on 7 May, 1893.
'Dod' Brewster was a tall and powerful centre half, who was a great favourite with Aberdeen whom he joined in 1913. He served during the First World War in France, but returned to take his place in the team with renewed vigour, and was transferred to Everton in January 1920. His career drifted slightly, moving to Wolverhampton in November 1922, Lovells Athletic a few months later and Wallasey United in the summer.
