Patrick Callaghan

Patrick Callaghan was born in Glasgow on 12 August, 1879. He died on 26 February, 1959. Paddy Callaghan was a superb servant to Hibernian FC, joining the club in 1898 and remaining with them until his retirement from football in 1914. In his time at Easter Road, the club won both the Scottish Cup in 1902 and the Scottish League in 1902/03. He played at inside left on the whole but could fit in almost anywhere, and even played in goal on occasion.
