Biography
David Murray McPherson was born in Kilmarnock on 22 August, 1872. He died on 24 July, 1942.
An inside forward, he joined Kilmarnock in 1890 and spent over a decade at Rugby Park. Won the Scottish Qualifying Cup in 1896 and was in the Scottish Cup final eleven of 1898. Came from a distinguished footballing family, and was younger brother of John ’Kitey’ McPherson, another international.
