Biography
William Allan Lambie was born in Glasgow on 10 January, 1873. Date of death not known.
William Lambie joined Queen’s Park in 1889 as a wing forward, and although heavily built he was a speedy attacking force. His older brother John had been capped at the age of 17, and William also won early international honours with his first Scotland cap at the age of 19, scoring on his debut (in fact, on each of his first four matches). He won the Scottish Cup with Queen’s Park in 1893
