Biography
George Law was born in Arbroath on 13 December, 1885. Date of death not known.
A right back, he started with local club Arbroath but signed for Rangers in March 1907. Known for his fierce but fair tackling, his defensive abilities helped Rangers to win the Scottish League championship in 1911, and he was also in the team that contested the abandoned Scottish Cup Final of 1909. He moved to Leeds City in 1912 and retired in 1919 to go into an engineering business partnership with his brother.
