Biography
Adam McLean was born in Greenock on 27 April, 1899. He died on 29 June, 1973.
After coming through the juvenile ranks, Adam McLean joined Celtic in January 1917 and went straight into the first team to assist them to a league championship success. He stayed at Celtic Park for eleven years, winning three further league titles in 1919, 1922 and 1926, as well as the Scottish Cup in 1923, 1925 and 1927.
