Biography
James Brogan was born in Glasgow on 5 June, 1944. Jim Brogan came into the Celtic team at left half after the European Cup victory, and was a key player in the club’s continuing success under Jock Stein. He had in fact come to Celtic in 1963 from local junior team St Rochs, and remained at Parkhead until 1975 during which time he made well over 300 appearances for the club. His honours were many including: consecutive Scottish League Championships from 1968 to 1974, Scottish Cups in 1969, 1971, 1972.
