Jim Forrest

James Forrest was born in Glasgow on 22 September, 1944. Joining Rangers from school in 1960, Forrest made his debut for the club just after his 18th birthday in November 1962, and quickly developed into a sparkling centre forward. He was top scorer in 1963-64 and 64-65, and only one goal behind George McLean the following year. There were plenty of honours, including the League Championship in 63-64, the Scottish Cup in 1966 and two Scottish League Cups.
