Biography
Robert Munro McKean was born in East Kilbride on 8 December, 1952. He died on 15 March, 1978.
Bobby McKean died tragically young in an accident at home, but he had already proved his ability on the right side of midfield in the Rangers side which broke Celtic’s domination of the league championship. His first club was Blantyre Victoria, and he went from there to St Mirren in 1969, joining Rangers for a reported £50,000 fee in September 1974. His first two seasons at Ibrox both ended with him
