Biography
Kris came through the ranks at Stoke City before going on to make 138 appearances in four years at Nottingham Forest. He joined Derby County in 2008 and the midfielder's impressive form caught the eye of then Scotland manager George Burley, who handed him his first cap in a 0-0 draw in a friendly against Northern Ireland at Hampden Park. Kris grabbed his first Scotland goal in a 3-0 win over the Faroe Islands in November 2010. He moved to Celtic the following January and quickly became a fans' favourite, scoring a series of crucial goals in his first season.
