David Wotherspoon
Position: Midfielder
Biography
As a youth player David was signed at Celtic but moved to Hibernian in the hope of breaking into the first team quicker. He did just that at the beginning of the 2009/2010 season in a 2-1 victory over St Mirren in which he scored Hibs' opener.
David has represented Scotland at under-18 and under-19 level and made his under-21 debut in a 2011 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifier against Azerbaijan in November 2009.
He has since gone on to become a regular under Billy Stark for the 2013 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying campaign and scored his first goal for the under-21s in a 2-1 victory over the Netherlands in Nijmegen in November 2011.
