This Disciplinary Updates section details selected Notices of Complaint issued by the Compliance Officer and Claims lodged and dealt with under the Judicial Panel Procotol.
This section will also be regularly updated with the outcomes of cases.

Disciplinary Rule allegedly breached: Disciplinary Rule 200: Where it is established that a player has committed any one or more of the following sending off offences during a match:
(A1) Serious foul play (as described from time to time in the Laws of the Game), but only where the acts and/or omissions constituting the sending off offence:
(i) were committed intentionally; and/or
(ii) fell significantly below the standard of conduct expected of a Player in the prevailing circumstances; and
(iii) in the case of each of (i) and/or (ii) above, demonstrate a culpable disregard by the Player for the consequences which might result from such acts and/or omissions.
(A2) Violent conduct (as described from time to time in the Laws of the Game)
(A3) Biting or spitting at someone,
and, in the case of each or any of A1, A2 and/or A3, where the player was not dismissed by the referee as a result of the alleged act/acts referred to within the Fast Track Notice of Complaint.
Any Fast Track Notice of Complaint alleging a breach of this Rule shall be Determined by a Fast Track Tribunal subject to the provisions of Section 13.
Fast Track Tribunal Hearing: Thursday, 9 December 2021 - Cancelled
Outcome: Admitted: 2 match mandatory suspension, effective immediately to the player's Recognised Team's next 2 matches, irrespective of competition (A1 - Serious Foul Play).
Thereafter 1 SPFL First Team league match suspension becomes effective, on the 14th day following the date of the Dundee United v Celtic match on 5 December. (in accordance with Judicial Panel Protocol page 138 paragraph 5).

Furthermore such person or body shall not act in any manner which is improper or use any one, or a combination of, violent Conduct, serious foul play, threatening, abusive, indecent or insulting words or behaviour.

Disciplinary Rules allegedly breached:
Disciplinary Rule 71 - No recognised football body, club, official, Team Official or other member of Team Staff, player, match official, or other person under the jurisdiction of the Scottish FA shall bring the game into disrepute.
Disciplinary Rule 73 - No recognised football body, club, official, Team Official or other member of Team Staff, player, match official or other person under the jurisdiction of the Scottish FA shall in an interview, a ‘blog’ on the internet, on a social networking or microblogging site, or in any other manner calculated or likely to lead to publicity, make comment(s) of a discriminatory or offensive nature based on, but not limited to, race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation or disability, or that endorse or encourage foul play or violent Conduct or are otherwise offensive. There shall be a presumption that any material published in such a manner was published in the name of and/or with the authority of the person or body bearing to have published the material.
Disciplinary Rule 77 - A recognised football body, club, official, Team Official, other member of Team Staff, player, match official or other person under the jurisdiction of the Scottish FA shall, at all times, act in the best interests of Association Football. Furthermore such person or body shall not act in any manner which is improper or use any one, or a combination of, violent Conduct, serious foul play, threatening, abusive, indecent or insulting words or behaviour.

Outcome: £6000 fine applied as follows: £5000 immediate, £1000 suspended until the end of Season 2021/22 should there be a further breach of Disciplinary Rules 71/73/77 in this time period.
