The FULLY FUNDED COACHING Programme
Not everyone has the same opportunities when it comes to developing transferable skills that can help secure a job, or support career growth.
As the Official Banking Partner of the Scottish FA, Chase is helping to change that.
Launched in 2024, the Chase football coaching programme provides access to funded grassroots and professional football coaching qualifications to individuals where cost is a barrier - harnessing the power of football to help them unlock their potential and develop skills that can support their careers, both on and off the pitch.
In the first year of the programme, over 2,100 aspiring coaches across England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales completed a Chase funded coaching course.
As part of its continued support, Chase is funding 150 UEFA Grassroots Leader Awards to help encourage new coaches into the game at a grassroots level and 80 UEFA C Licence, 5 UEFA A, and 5 UEFA B qualifications to help aspiring coaches develop the skills they need to succeed.
We'd love for you to get involved and take the next step in your coaching career. Please check out our eligibility criteria to see if you are suitable for a fully funded place.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the course, individuals must meet the following criteria, at the time of application:
- Are aged 16 and over
- Live in Scotland or volunteer, play or coach for a football club in Scotland.
- And at least one of the following; have an annual household income under £22,860, receive universal credit, received free school meals as a child or your parents were in a low paid or low skilled job when you were 14.
We'll also ask you two questions (with a maximum 200 word limit). Your answers will be used to assess your suitability for a fully funded place and should demonstrate the impact the qualification would have on helping you achieve your football coaching ambitions
