Three grassroots heroes have been shortlisted for the 2015 McDonald's People's Award for their services to grassroots football.

Colin and Margaret Vize
Colin and Margaret Vize have together shown a unified commitment to youth football in Scotland, working tirelessly to fundraise and finance the kits. Colin occupies a coaching role at Port Glasgow Juniors Boys Club and sits on the committee, while Margaret has coordinated the creation of a girls’ side at the club for youth levels.
Calum MacLeod
Calum Macleod is the current Chairman of Carloway F.C. in the Lewis and Harris football league, and long-term member of the Lewis and Harris Football Association. The approachable and likeable Chairman has devoted unquantifiable hours to support players, coaches, managers, committee members and supporters and has also played a major role in building foundations within grassroots football.
Alex Watters
Alex Watters has dedicated his life working as a coach in the Scottish Youth Football Association for teams in and around the Falkirk area. In a career spanning fifty years Alex has coached teams including Grangemouth F.C. and Gairdoch United, winning trophies such as the Scottish Cup, Walkers Cup and the Golden Boot.
