On the 24th and 25th of November, 14 student volunteers took part in a sports first aid course, the first to be held specifically for the student volunteer programme.
The course took place at Clydebank College and was run by Dr John McLean and Graeme Jones from Hampden's Sports Medicine Centre.
Ian Ross, Central region player and coach development officer, who runs the student volunteer programme said:
"This course is a great step forward for the programme, as it adds another dimension to the coach education sessions available to these students, who all want to get involved in football.
"Hopefully with the success of this course we will be able to run a few more next year."
