We are delighted to host our 9th annual Scottish FA South East Conference from the Energy Asset Arena, Livingston.
The conference is aimed at coaches working at all levels of football and will include delivery of a variety of practical coaching sessions as well as a discussion forum. We anticipate there will be a huge demand to attend this event and encourage interested coaches to book early. Guest coaches include:
Stuart Taylor – Aston Villa
Stuart is the Under-21 Assistant Manager for English Premier League side Aston Villa. A pro-licence coach, he previously held coaching positions in Qatar and Ireland before starting with Aston Villa in the summer of 2014. He retired from playing in 2009, with the former midfielder playing nearly 300 games for St Mirren, Airdrieonians, Drogheda United, Falkirk, Partick Thistle, St Johnstone, Ross County and Hamilton Academicals.
Alan White – Heart of Midlothian
Alan is the Scottish FA Community Coach working at Heart of Midlothian and is responsible for the day-to-day running of the club’s community programme. He holds the Scottish FA’s Youth Licence and Advanced Children’s Licence and is a hugely experienced coach and coach educator. Alan specialises in technique development working with players throughout the whole of the Hearts Youth Academy. Academy Manager, Roger Arnott, will present on the new structure within the set-up.
Danny Lennon
Danny is a pro-licence coach who played over 300 senior games for a number of Scottish clubs including Hibernian, Raith Rovers and Partick Thistle. Capped four times for Northern Ireland B, he retired from playing in 2008, and has since managed Cowdenbeath and St Mirren where he guided the club the Scottish League Cup in 2013. Danny will take charge of the Scotland Under-21 team for their match away to Hungary at the end of March.
