West Dunbartonshire Council are looking for an Assistant Football Development Officer .
West Dunbartonshire Leisure Sports Development Service consists of highly motivated and skilled employees who deliver high quality programmes throughout the local authority and engage with thousands of young people every week. The service is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Assistant Football Development Officer to cover the existing post holder’s maternity leave.
As Assistant Football Development Officer, you will be required to work in partnership with the Football Development Officer to grow and develop the game at grassroots level. You will also work with key partners to enhance the infrastructure that provides quality and progressive participation opportunities throughout West Dunbartonshire.
You should possess extensive experience of football coaching, co-ordinating people/coaches, organising sports programmes, events and festivals. You need to be highly self-motivated, imaginative, have an enthusiastic manner and be able to display leadership qualities. In addition, candidates need to be able to demonstrate high quality administration, computer literacy in a variety of software packages and excellent report writing skills.
It is essential that you have valid coaching qualifications and possess at least the Scottish FA’s Level 3 Coaching Certificate. You must be educated to at least HND level, and it is desirable that you have access to a car for business use.
