Ayr United Football Academy is seeking to appoint youth football coaches who hold a Scottish FA Level 4 Youth or Child Coaching Qualification, to work within its Talented Young Footballers programme which operates age groups ten to 19 years of age.
They will consider a limited number of applications from Level 3 holders.
Applicants must be able to provide evidence of coaching experience with youth teams and will be asked to provide references if successful at the first interview stage.
A current driving licence and access to a car is required and the post will involve evening and weekend work.
The successful applicants will probably live in Ayrshire.
The position involves coaching and developing some of Ayrshire’s most talented young footballers and is highly satisfying. As it is a voluntary position, there is no remuneration but the Academy is committed to subsidising in full the costs of progression through the Scottish FA’s Coach Education programme, in return for the voluntary work.
For further information and application forms, please contact David White, Head of Youth Development at david@ayrunitedfc.co.uk. Telephone enquiries will not be accepted.
Closing date for submission of applications is Friday 15 February, with interviews scheduled for the week commencing Monday 25 February.
