One of Scotland’s largest girls’ and women’s community football clubs are on the lookout for coaches and volunteers for next season.

Boroughmuir Thistle FC, a holder of the Community level Quality Mark award, have teams catering for under-six all the way into the adult game.

The club provides coach education up to UEFA level B, coach mentoring, PVG clearance, coaching kit and first aid training.

The club are based at the Meggetland 3G on Colinton Road, Edinburgh.

The club are also looking for players of all ages wishing to develop their football with opportunities for players born in 1999 or 2000 within their under-15 age group.

Quality Mark is designed to support and recognise the work of clubs and teams who have a desire to be the very best they can be.

To gain one of the awards - Entry, Standard, Development, Community or Legacy - there is a related list of criteria that the club must achieve.

This criteria is aimed at improving or supporting management, development structures, administration, planning and welfare.
