The current level 1 Club Coach Certificate will cease to exist as of January 2013. (Currently a 2 day course at a cost of £55)

All coaches who complete (or have previously completed) the Club Coach certificate will still be eligible to progress to a UEFA B licence up to 2015, using the existing club coach certificate as the course pre-requisite.

When the new coach education structure kicks in, any coach with aspirations of doing the B licence that does not have the Club Coach Certificate will then need to attend the following courses as a pre-requisite:

Development Activities Course (1 day, £35)
Coaching Youth Footballers (2 days, £45)
Coaching in the Game (2 days, £50)
C Licence (5 days, £210)

With these changes in mind, I would strongly recommend that any coaches who are, or are likely to be, interested in working within adult football attend a Club Coach Certificate course this year before the structure changes.  All coaches in receipt of a club coach certificate will still be eligible to progress to a B licence up to 2015, using the existing club coach certificate as the course pre-requisite.

We are running three Club Coach Certificates this year; full course details can be found in South East brochure at the link below.
