As part of the Scottish FA Volunteer programme we are running Level 2 Coaching Youth Footballers certificate free of charge.
The course will be held at Muriston Utd’s Bankton Mains Sports Facility. Details are below;
Venue: Bankton Mains Sports Facility, Livingston (Outdoor)
Dates: 3/8/10 & 4/8/10
Times: 10.00 – 4.00pm
The course is a practical course which is split into 2 parts. The first day (Tuesday 3rd) we will deliver to you, showing course content and how to run a training session focusing on 4 specific themes. On day 2, (Wednesday 4th) you will each deliver a small session to a group and we will provide you with feedback on your coaching. In order to reserve your place on the course please the attached application form and return it to Aidan Forbes at the address below.
Applications will be accepted on a first come first serve basis and you will be notified of your place via txt/email.
All course applicants must agree to a 20hr placement at either a local boys/girls club or as an assistant coach on one of the Scottish FA’s Community Programmes. On completion of these 20hrs you will be invited to attend a Level 3, Coaching in the Game, certificate free of charge. You should be aware that if you attend the Level 2 and do not volunteer on a placement you will not be given a certificate to say you attended the course, nor will your details be added to the National Database as a certified Level 2 coach.
