Two clubs from East Dumbartonshire recently joined forces for two coach education courses.
Baljaffray FC and Milngavie BC attended the Scottish FA-run classes.
The clubs wanted to gain further coach education in the Youth Level 1 and Youth Level 2 Courses.
The course was organised by the football development officer for the region Kevin Murphy.
He said: “We were impressed by the enthusiasm of both clubs and their coaches by their willingness to get through both Level 1 and 2 of the Youth Pathway.
“The encouraging turn out over 6 consecutive Friday evenings highlights how much time and dedication local coaches put in for the local community and their respective clubs.”
Baljaffray FC are currently a Standard Quality Mark holder with ambitions of growing further as a football club.
Milngavie BC are also a significant player on the East Dunbartonshire scene with teams from under-8s all the way through to amateur level.
Kevin added: “We are delighted that Milngavie BC are now committed to work with the Scottish FA and EDLC Trust to gain the Quality Mark Award. “
