The following Coach Education courses will be taking place at Toryglen Regional Football Centre between 24th and 26th June 2016:
Children’s Pathway:
Level 1.1 EARLY TOUCHES
When: Friday 24th June 2016
Time: 12pm to 6pm
Fee: £45
This 6-hour course is for coaches who work with children of primary school age, with a focus on skill development, coaching technique and best age specific activities for developing players.
Level 1.2 COACHING YOUNG FOOTBALLERS
When: Saturday 25th & Sunday 26th June 2016
Time: 10am to 4pm (Both Days)
Fee: £60
This 12-hour course is designed to assist coaches with the planning, preparation, organisation and evaluation of their coaching sessions.
Level 1.3 COACHING IN THE GAME
When: Saturday 25th & Sunday 26th June 2016
Time: 10am to 4pm (Both Days)
Fee: £60
The 12-hour course looks at the knowledge and understanding required to help players appreciate concepts such as width, depth and support within the small-sided game. Candidates are required to demonstrate the ability to coach basic strategies to players.
Youth / Adult’s Pathway:
Level 1.1 DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES
When: Friday 24th June 2016
Time: 12pm to 6pm

This 6-hour course is for coaches who work with youths/adults 13+. The course will assist coaches to develop their coaching technique and focus on skill development.
Level 1.2 COACHING FOOTBALLERS 13+
When: Saturday 25th & Sunday 26th June 2016
Time: 10am to 4pm (Both Days)
Fee: £60
This 12-hour course is designed to assist coaches with the planning, preparation, organisation and evaluation of their coaching sessions. The course will focus on coaching style and the use of differentiation, i.e. provision of practices to suit the wide range of abilities with the secondary school age group.
Level 1.3 COACHING IN THE GAME
When: Saturday 25th & Sunday 26th June 2016
Time: 10am to 4pm (Both Days)
Fee £60
The 12-hour course looks at the knowledge and understanding required to help players appreciate concepts such as width, depth and support within the small-sided game. Candidates are required to demonstrate the ability to coach basic strategies to players.
Goalkeeping:
Level 1 GOALKEEPING CERTIFICATE
When: Sunday 26th June 2016
Time: 10am to 4pm
Fee: £45
This course is designed to assist coaches aged 16 or over working with goalkeepers from children to adults.
