Forfar Farmington's senior player Yasmin Anderson is to attend an exciting internship at Arsenal FC. Yasmin orginally attended the first ever Female Coach Education courses in the East Region and has successfully been building on her coach education and development ever since.
The midfielder and Dundee United Sports Club girls youth coach is heading off to The Emirates, home of the mighty Arsenal to participate in the London club's gap year coaching internship.

Yasmin will spend four months based in London at Emirates Stadium and local schools during which time she will  gain qualifications and work experience with the Club's extensive community programme, gaining experience in football coaching and classroom teaching (literacy, numeracy and basic ICT through Arsenal's award-winning education initiative, the Arsenal Double Club), as well as first aid and safeguarding courses.

She will then get the opportunity to coach with a range of  Soccer Schools and community partners both locally and abroad.

Finally the course will give Yas an opportunity to work abroad, with the focus on working with Arsenal's  Community Partners in countries such as Kenya, Barbados, Mozambique and Israel.

Yasmin said "I am working my way through my coaching awards and this will give me invaluable experience"

The East Region wish Yasmine the very best of luck.
