Updated Media Accreditation guidance for clubs
Based on the three-weekly review of the Return to Playing Protocol, the following update has been approved by the Joint Response Group to provide a manageable increase in media provision without jeopardising health, safety or matchday operations. These changes can be implemented with immediate effect.
Photographers
• Permitted non-club photographers to increase from 2 to 6. • Club photographers remain a maximum of 2 per club. • Non-club photographers can include agency and newspaper/media outlet representatives, with access to be determined by the home club.
Host Broadcaster
• Increase from 40 to 45 (four of additional five permitted in Amber Zone) • Increase Red Zone access from 2 to 3 specifically to include floor manager/dugout liaison (no tunnel access).
Non-rights Holder Media
• Non-rights holder media (written, broadcast and online) to increase from 15 to 20.
