Deeside Girls FC has launched homework kits for its P2–4 age group.

The club’s coaches will roll out new skills on a staggered basis, allowing the girls to grasp the fundamentals and then accelerate their progress by practicing at home. Their progress will then be monitored and periodically assessed.

The launch was attended by Gavin Levey, Scottish FA Football Development Officer, and Claire Garret, North Region Girls' and Women's Football Development Officer.

Gavin led the girls in a training session based on the Scottish FA’s “Creative Player” training material.

The club decided to launch the optional homework kits to improve the girls' skills and general activity levels, by increasing the opportunity to practice away from club training sessions.

Deeside Girls FC would like to thank Premier Oilfield Services, for their support in providing kit bags.

Deeside Girls FC is accredited with the Scottish FA’s Quality Mark Standard Award and has teams participating in the North Region Girls Football Leagues at various age groups.

The club is currently looking to bolster its P2-4 and P5-7 squads for the coming season. If you are interested in finding out more about the club, please contact Diane Birss on 01330 820367.
