The Scottish Football Association North Region are running a FREE In-service day at the Meadows Sports Centre, Ellon on Wednesday 22nd April. The session will run from 7pm – 9pm and will be open to anyone with an interest in football to attend.
The theme(s) on the evening will include Developmental 4v4 small-sided games aimed at children aged from 6-9 years old, which is in conjunction with the current National Plan. All those attending will receive a DVD and booklet covering Developmental Fours and the Creative Player.
This is an opportunity for all coaches at any level of the game to come along and hopefully pick up a few new coaching drills or practices. This session will be open to managers, coaches’ helpers, parents and anyone else who is involved in the game. The SFA see it as an important part of developing coaches and the game across the North of Scotland.
North regional Manager, Graeme Sutherland said “This session will help compliment the work currently being done by coaches across the 6-9 year old age group and will be particularly useful for clubs and volunteer coaches who are soon to begin the ADJFA 4v4 pilot from May – June this year. We are keen to ensure that anyone who is interested is welcomed to this event whether they are a current volunteer within club or schools football or are considering volunteering in the future”
