Pupils from St.Modan's High School and Wallace High School have been showing off their football skills recently following a 4 week Soccer One Disability programme which has been taking place at the PEAK, Stirling. Over the course of the programme the pupils have practised a wide range of skills including dribbling, passing and shooting before putting these into good use during some small sided games. Active Stirling Football Coach Graeme Henderson commented, "It is great to see so many pupils from both of these schools participating within and enjoying playing football through the Soccer One programme. Some of the performances during the small sided games have been fantastic and a joy to watch. I hope the programme has encouraged each of the participants to continue playing football and be physically active." Active Stirling Disability Officer Jennifer Livingstone also added, "It was great to see both schools participate fully in all football related skills, activities and games. It was especially nice that both schools worked so well together and thoroughly enjoyed the 4 week programme". For more information on this programme you can contact Graeme Henderson on:
