The Scottish FA can confirm that the Judicial Panel Tribunal convened to consider Livingston FC’s ongoing breach of Disciplinary Rule 21 of the Judicial Panel Protocol has made the following decision:
Having considered submissions provided by the Scottish FA Compliance Officer and the solicitor acting on behalf of the club in respect of the ongoing breach, the Tribunal has confirmed that it is satisfied that the situation which gave rise to a breach of Disciplinary Rule 21 has now been resolved. The registration embargo imposed by the Tribunal on 31 March is therefore lifted with immediate effect.
Disciplinary Rule 21 - By holding interests in East Fife FC, through Neil Rankine, shareholder of Livingston 5 Ltd, whereby Livingston FC holds power to influence the management or administration of East Fife FC;
Original sanction:
(1) Fine of £5000, payable within 30 days in accordance with terms of JPP
(2) Livingston FC is debarred from registering any player, either on loan or permanently, or extending the contract of any player currently registered with the club until such time as Livingston FC has resolved the ongoing breach of Disciplinary Rule 21 of the JPP 2013/14, or the equivalent subsequent Disciplinary Rule.
