A Disciplinary Tribunal convened today in accordance with the Judicial Panel Protocol to consider the following cases:
Case One
Alleged Party in Breach: Derek McInnes (Aberdeen)
Match: Dundee United v Aberdeen (SPFL Premiership) – 2 March 2016
Disciplinary Rule allegedly breached:
Disciplinary Rule 203: In that on or around the 37th minute of the above match you committed misconduct and used offensive, abusing and insulting language towards the Match Officials.
Outcome: One match suspension (only to take effect in the event of a further breach of Disciplinary Rule 203 before the end of season 2015/16).
Case Two
Player: Scott Bain (Dundee)
Match: Dundee United v Dundee (SPFL Premiership) – 20 March 2016
Case: Claim of Wrongful Dismissal (Denying the Opposing Team a Goal or an Obvious Goal Scoring Opportunity)
Outcome: Claim dismissed.
The following notices of complaint were also issued today:
Case One
Alleged party in breach: Alex Rae (Manager, St Mirren)
Match: St Mirren v Raith Rovers (SPFL Championship) - Tuesday, 22nd March 2016
Disciplinary rule allegedly breached:
Disciplinary Rule 203 - In that on or around the 64th minute you committed misconduct by using offensive, abusing or insulting language to the match referee.
Fixed suspension offer: One-match
Principal hearing date: Wednesday, 13th April
Mr Rae has until Wednesday, 30th March to accept the fixed offer of suspension, and if not accepted until Friday 1st April to respond to the Complaint.
Case Two
Alleged party in breach: Mixu Paatelainen (Manager, Dundee United)
Match: Dundee United v Dundee (SPFL Premiership) - Sunday, 20th March 2016
Disciplinary rule allegedly breached:
Disciplinary Rule 203 - In that on or around the 91st minute you committed misconduct by shouting and gesticulating at away supporters.
Principal hearing date: Wednesday, 13th April
Mr Paatelainen has until Friday, 1st April to respond
