Joga 5, West Brom and Preston were the winning teams at this year's Bank of Scotland Midnightleague East and South East Regional Final.

Over 150 boys and girls headed to Tynecastle Stadium in Edinburgh to take part in the finals day.

And Heart of Midlothian midfielder Andrew Driver was there to join in the excitement when he dropped in to meet the young players and hand out medals and trophies to the winners.
 
Teams from Dundee, East and West Lothian, Edinburgh and the Borders all took part in the tournament over three categories, and the winners were:
 
Boys, 12-13 years - Joga 5 (Borders)
Boys, 14 years and over - West Brom (West Lothian)
Girls – Preston (East Lothian)
 
Andrew Driver said: “I have visited a couple of the Bank of Scotland Midnightleague sessions in the area as well as last year’s final and I am always impressed by the enthusiasm of the players as well as the organisation of the coaches. It is a great initiative for young people to be involved in.”
 
This year’s Midnightleague programme has been running at nearly 30 sports centres across the East and South East of Scotland since January.
 
The programme aims to get boys and girls across Scotland off the streets and onto the pitch by giving them the chance to play organised five-a-side football in the evening.
 
The Midnightleague programme is delivered by the Scottish FA in partnership with Bank of Scotland, the Scottish Government’s CashBack for Communities Scheme, Coalfield Regeneration Trust, local authorities and police forces.
